Real Happiness comes from Inside.

Updated: Nov 19, 2020

We live in a world of pleasure where happiness is the goal.

We think something’s gone wrong when we don’t feel great.

So we need to feel good, and fast.

We are hooked on instant gratification and sugar is the perfect solution.

We see images of perfect, happy people, 24/7.

Because of the chocolate, ice-cream and food they're eating.

Marketed to that this is what we need.

This is NOT real happiness.

You don’t feel happiness because of these foods.

You may feel some happiness thinking about this food,

or a surge of happiness as the food hits your mouth.

But this is only temporary.

A false pleasure.

An artificial surge of dopamine from the sugar.

Giving your brain instant relief from any negative emotion.

The dopamine eventually recedes but the emotion remains.

A habit forms as the brain, built on a system of reward, wants it again.

The weight creeps up, and you’re left feeling worse than before.

What I call a net negative result.

If you had the courage to feel the feelings that cause you to buffer with food,

you wouldn’t need to eat to escape.

You’d get to know yourself on a much deeper level.

You’d learn to look after yourself differently.

You’d eat food that nourishes and fuels you.

You’d love your body because it’s a gift.

You’d exercise because it feels great and is good for you.

You'd drink more water because it's vital for body function.

You’d do more things you loved and fill yourself with care and well being.

This is natural pleasure- and no negative side-effects.

It comes from the inside, and what we were designed to feel.

If you’re willing to feel, real happiness is available.

It’s so much better AND it's long term.

If you want to explore this more, let’s chat.

We'll look at where you are now and where you want to go.

I have all the tools to show you how to get there.

xx
