How looking ahead can actually kickstart the beginning of the end of your weightloss struggle.

.

In our childhood and early 20's we were so excited about what's ahead.

Marriage, kids, first house, jobs, business etc

There was so much to achieve and look forward to.

Then at some point we stop looking forward.

We look to our past to see what we can do or who we are.

"I've never been a gym person , it will never work"

"I've never owned my own business,I wouldn't know where to start"

"I've never had a weekend off drinking, it's not possible."

"I have always had a big bum and legs"

These were some of the lies I was telling myself.

I didn't recognise them at lies,

I just thought I was stating the truth.

If you've struggled with your weight you may be doing this too.

You've been on diets most of your life and nothing has ever worked.

You think it's impossible to lose weight.

You tell yourself you've never been someone who can keep weight off.

Especially at 40.

You stop asking yourself what you want .

So of course you stop creating possibility.

You are limiting yourself with what you believe is the truth.

What if you could start believing in a different future?

Would you try?

You can.

All you need to do is ask yourself a few simple questions

to get the ball rolling.

You probably haven't had this conversation with yourself for years.

1- What are your goals?

2- Who do you want to be?

3- If you died tomorrow what would you have regretted most not having done?

4- How do you want to show up in the world?

Every result we've had in our lives always started with a thought.

Think of these answers as the new thought seeds.

They have now been planted in your brain.

All you need to do practice thinking them.

It's simple.

You don't even need to know the how.

Your brain is incredible-it loves creating solutions.

If you give it some thoughts it will go to work.

The brain is laser focused-it will look for evidence to prove its thoughts are true.

Just notice what starts to happen.

I did this exercise in my 40's when I thought I was too old

to be still dreaming.

At 50 I am living a life I thought was impossible.

These were my answers to these questions;

I want meaning and purpose.

I want a business of my own.

I want to start making money.

I want to love my body because it has given me so much.

I want a fitter, stronger and healthier body by the time I'm 50 .

All I did was answer those questions honestly and believed it was

possible.

Life after 40 is awesome.

You can lose weight forever.

You can be who you want to be.

You can have the body you want.

You can achieve emotional freedom and

Any goal you set your heart on.

Just start with some new goals,

Believe hard,

and see where it takes you.

Stop looking backwards, turn around and picture a future

that's full of possibility.

I did it and can show you how.
